I took a picture with my iPhone 6s of a leaf on the ground after it rained because I thought it looked neat. Once I had the perfect image, I started experimenting with different effects on different apps and different websites.
I decided to edit the image myself using some inspiration from an effect I saw on the app Prisma. I brightened the image and mixed colors with a base blue. Then I worked in little lines in places to give it a canvas feel.
I like that the image now has a graphic "comic book" feel to it!

First, I took a photo of Stadium Park Plaza during sunset using a Samsung Galaxy S6.
To begin the manipulation process, I cropped out the road and some of the sky in order to make the viewers focus on the building.
Then, using the app Snapseed, I added saturation to the section of the building where the sun was shining. Using the same app, I blurred the bottom edges of the photo.
Next, I uploaded the photo to my computer and began editing on Pixlr. I used the wand tool to select the clouds and then cut them out, leaving me with white clouds that have a high contrast with the rest of the scenery. I edited the areas of the clouds that were selected multiple times, and ended up with the manipulated image I currently have.
